Our History
The adventure of La Villa Michaëlla has its roots in 43 years of scientific research (1952–1995) conducted by IRAT and FOFIFA. The work of researchers such as Roland Théodose as well as Nany Fleuron have made it possible to develop, after decades of experimentation, hybrids capable of offering an unequalled aromatic intensity, Tahifolia vanilla, the fruit of the marriage between Vanilla Planifolia and the Vanilla Tahitensis.
Guided by mentors like Nany Fleuron, a pioneer of hybridization, we have pursued this approach with passion, placing applied research and artisanal rigor at the heart of our identity.
Today, Madagascar is recognized by AUST HACHMANN as the heart of the global vanilla trade, and we are proud to contribute to this by offering superior quality, from a controlled local sector
