The 15 Ora™ — “15 hours” in Malagasy — is a candle developed by La Villa Michaëlla with a simple objective: to provide long-lasting illumination at an affordable price. Its name directly reflects this commitment: to provide at least 15 hours of burn time under normal conditions of use.
Each product improvement undergoes real-world burn testing to verify its burn time, flame stability, and performance through the final hours of use.
Designed for long and consistent burn performance
The 15 Ora™ was developed around a carefully controlled set of technical parameters, from its formulation to its manufacturing conditions. Each production batch is made according to defined parameters and undergoes quality checks to achieve the most consistent burn performance possible from one candle to the next.
Tested under real-world conditions
The stated burn time of the 15 Ora™ is based on burn tests conducted through the final hours of use. These tests allow us to observe the candle’s performance throughout its entire burn time and confirm its consistency under normal conditions of use.
Both our in-house testing and real-world use have shown burn times that can exceed the stated 15 hours.

Production of the 15 Ora™ is currently based in Antananarivo. Following a product development and validation phase, La Villa Michaëlla is progressively putting in place the resources needed to increase its production capacity.
